Experimenting - High Key

I am reading a brilliant book by Michael Freeman "Photo School Fundamentals" and wanted to experiment with some of the things I have been reading about.

This was shot using the widest aperture I could get for the zoom focal length I was using.  I also set the ISO to 100 and then played around with the shutter speed until I got the effect I wanted.

I couldn't choose between these two shots, so I have included the other one as an additional photo.
