Miniature

This small rose bush produces tiny roses, this one is less than 2cm across. Tiny but perfectly formed, a pale cream with the lightest apricot towards the centre.
I've been watching it all week but only took the time to stop and take a photograph today. It's been such a tough week at work. Huge tug-of-wars between personalities and meltdowns involving tears and tantrums - and that was just the adults... Then the crushing realisation that one of my team members has not been coping on a personal level and has hit rock bottom, and I hadn't even noticed, with all the other noise going on.
So grateful for a day off yesterday, just to gather my thoughts and reassess my priorities and goals. Hoping for a much better week next week, but first the rest of the weekend to get through. Lunch and a movie with friends tomorrow will be fun.
