"Giant Smith's Crisp"

I was given a free papadum while I was waiting to collect a take away curry tonight.

Years ago we used to go to an Indian restaurant in Cambridge which had explanations of the various dishes for the uninitiated. For papadum it said "Could say giant Smith's crisp".
