Raspberry Ripple

For two weeks now my Camellia has been flowing again very early. This is last years blip I did of the same Camellia and I thought that was early for the 23rd of May. One good thing there hasn't been any frost yet to spoil it. The frosts are on there way, as it has got really cold and feels more like winter today.

It a beautiful Camellia but I don't know its name. Someone may be able to help me with that.

After all the rain yesterday and some over night today has been mostly dry in the city but very gloomy. I can feel the winter nip in the air. Looks like its going to be a good sunset tonight.

Camellia Branch and a Bird
the camellias are held out
by a branch
as if to invite any passerby
to see the delicate flowers
and the beauty of it
and the silence of it
and the moment of it;
but it is a bird that comes by
that comes to sit on the branch
to come to no purpose it seems but to sit
as if to say to the branch
to show to the camellias and the branch
to point to the beauty of it
the silence of it
and the moment of it
as the bird sits on the branch
