"...and all that jazz...!"

This chap was enjoying himself playing away on his sax today, and was very happy to be photographed (for a small fee of course).

I felt that he summed up the spirit of New Orleans very well, especially in monochrome!

(I also took lots of photos on a trip to the old sugar plantations north of the city, but they'll have to wait until I make a flickr album.)
