Attempt #1

I've always wanted to take a night photograph of blurred car lights on a highway with soft, shimmering city lights in the background. I've yet to do this successfully, heck, I've barely been able to get the blur of the cars right let alone the city lights. Tonight is my first attempt. I'm starting small and building up to the real deal :-)

It's a lovely spring night, so hanging out on my stoop turned out to be a family affair! Al and even Jake (our dog) joined me. A few pictures turned out pretty neat, though next time I'll work on cleaning up the focus of the surroundings. I'm proud of my first attempt and cannot wait to give it another go! This is my favorite one of the bunch.
