Random acts of kindness

So I'm at work when a colleague gives me a small parcel that has just turned up in the post and says "A- asked me to give you this, as she is not in today". And in the parcel was a threepeny bit from the year of my birth made into a keyring!

This followed on from a conversation last week about my age - long story - but I have to say it was a lovely act and I was very touched. Made my day in fact.

The other notable thing about today was that I ate French - croissants for breakfast, French cheese for lunch, and Salmon and veg with a hollandaise sauce for supper. Oh and a French tart covered in cream ...
