The Past Revisited

 Back in May last year I blipped a Merlin engine dug up while excavation of footings was taking place in our old "dam field" for the new doctors surgery. The original can be seen here!
Well the new Surgery came on stream on Saturday, there was a ceremony to mark the loss of the plane and its crew, the cleaned up engine and prop stub along with a plaque will serve to remind the visitor the price they paid.

I thought I could read the inscription from the camera image, sadly I can not and I will have to return and write them down and add a link later.
