Castelo dos Mouros

Today Pippa and I took the train to Sintra. I had good memories of Sintra from an earlier visit. Today, however, the masses of tourists made it unpleasant as in my memory it was a beautiful quiet town, now it was garish.
Thankfully, Pippa and I managed to escape the herds by climbing up to the Castelo - an impressive medieval/moors stronghold. We climbed all the towers and had amazing views over the surrounding landscape. Very windy though!
