Battle Stations

Stormy day in Madrid, the street vendors, suitably prepared: paraguasparaguasparaguas, yesterday it was CDs and sunglasses. How do they do it? I prefer a hat myself, keeps you warm and dry and doesn't risk eye surgery, unless of course it has one of those long bobbly things on it, or a bell, the like of which a jester may sport.
