Impression of buttercups
A cross country walk today with friends and we walked through a glorious field of buttercups. Unfortunately I only had my compact camera with me, so I've edited the photo into an 'impression of buttercups'. Hopefully I'll get another chance to take it with my DSLR. I thought I'd include an extract from a poem called Buttercups And Daisies by Jared Barhite
Buttercups and daisies
Bloom adown the narrow lane,
Beside the brook in pasture,
And over the wide plain;
Tangles in the meadow
Where ten million flower bloom,
Draw bee and bird and squirrel,
With their beauty and perfume.
