Hadrian's Wall

Arrived in Once Brewed after taking the train South and a 6km walk. Weather OK, although it got rather wet towards the end. Dinner at the local pub which was rather packed. Sausages for me and Scampi for Felix. Plan is to walk East tomorrow to Hexham and West on Sunday. We shall see what the weather will do.

Somehow I can't imagine blue skies here, the landscape suits gloomy and wet. I wonder what the Romans made of this place.
