On this particular spot in June 1989 I met Jean, both on our lunch break from our respective supermarket jobs ( she Tesco, me William low) with a portable stereo with the stone roses new album on side A and bookends on side B. We had one large jazz inhalator to share then promptly fell asleep in the sunshine waking up late in the afternoon jobless.
