Make way for.....

Wood Ducklings....and the mamas and papas!   In this case singular parents it seems:)   I have NEVER seem an entire wood duck family ...and never even seen a male or female wood duck at the slough along the dog park.   I was soooo excited....Big R kept saying they were mallards...but my eyes told me different...besides I had the added advantage of the long lens in front of mine:)   

Cowboy wasn't all that excited...he was more excited to find muck to get into:)
