Street Life

Yesterday we drove up to the Alsace to see a super retriever breeder. Beautiful dogs, puppies born just 4 days ago on sunday.
Yesterday's blip is of the proud mother, not looking her best maybe but she has just given birth!

On yesterday's blip I have added a photo, taken through the window so a bit blurred.
The breeders are lovely people. We had very good contact and  they seemed to be very much on the same wavelength as Liz as regards care and diet. So there is a little puppy reserved for us in 8 weeks time. Can't wait.
They also breed collies - see 2nd additional photo from yesterday, and there are also puppies available. Liz was quite tempted but I think that maybe one is enough! 

We then spent the night in Riquewihr, one of the most beautiful of the Alsace villages. This pic was taken before breakfast this morning, before the crowds and the rain came.
