holiday (day 7)

Drove west from Prague after breakfast to Mariánské Lázně in West Bohemia.

Dr D's maternal grandmother was from that area, so there's a sentimental attachment.

More sun. More beer. More wine (a fine bottle of Grüner Veltliner from South Moravia). More good food. More slivovice. (Ouch).

We even watched Czech Republic v Finland in the ice hockey world championship quarter final on TV in the pub. Live from... Prague. Great atmosphere. Host country now in the semis.  

The Blip is just from the main street in Mariánské Lázně. A very photogenic place. Blipper's paradise, really.
