Macro Rose bud

This is a photo of two gifts....the background is the Mother's Day plant that Al gave me.  I blipped it on May 7th.
The rose is one my daughter gave me for my birthday, I started it from a seed and this bud is about the size of a pinhead!!  I was thrilled when the leaves started to grow, but the idea of a rose that tiny amazes me!!!
