First haircut and Raa Raa Birthday

Gorgeous day.

Squidge had her first proper haircut (not my feeble attempt hacking with scissors this time). One of the things we were looking forward to about moving to Wilmslow was that they have a hairdressers for kids called Big Heads. And it's amazing.

Little screens play Peppa Pig and the staff are so friendly. We'd been talking about going for about a week with Squidge and telling her what would happen. She was sooooo good. She let the lady lift her into the seat and moved her head up and down on request as she cut her hair. Angus and I sat on the sofa on the other side watching and brimming with pride.

Then we drove up to Halifax for a lovely family lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday or Auntie Raa Raa as she is now known in our house. Mum and Dad are still visibly shaken from the weekend's events so it was nice to be able to try and take their minds off it. Baby Ana slept for the whole meal but I managed one delicious cuddle before we left. She is soooo cute.

Bumped into one of my favourite blippers in John Lewis Cheadle on the way home!!! She had recognised Angus first and it was so lovely to put a real life face to the name.
