Humungus Fungus

Our humidity is generally very low but with the almost daily rain over the last month, I have been seeing toadstools in the shady areas, very unusual for us.  My husband was walking with Piper when he spotted this giant fungus growing on a tree just across the street.  So, of course, I had to go over with my camera and check it out.  I've really never seen anything like this so it had to be today's blip....and it really looks much better full screen. ;-)
