The Banks of Loch Lomond

The West Highland Way from Sallochy to Rowardennan undulates through mixed woodland with occasional glimpses of Ben Lomond ahead. The views of the loch are restricted to points where the path dips down to the water's edge usually at a small sandy or rocky cove. As seen in this picture it was a glorious day for  walking even a short stretch of the long distance path the temperature just right and the light superb.
