New school site?

The existing primary school needs to be replaced.  And plans were made to build it close to its existing site.  It is a little inconvenient being just outside the village but the plan was uncontroversial.

The strong rumour is that a local farmer has offered to donate some land for the new school in a far more convenient place.  The blip is of workmen carrying out initial tests on the rumoured new site.

The same farmer, it is rumoured, also has plans to build new houses alongside his donated land.  And he has failed before in getting planning permission.

I think this is what we call 'trade'.
