After only 8 months in the house I finally managed to get around to going to the local photographic society. Good timing too as they had managed to find a friendly human for us to photograph this evening. Polar extremes: I normally have about 5s to take a photo of the family (and that includes telling them to stop pulling faces) so to be able to direct a model was a novelty. 

Taken with the trusty 50mm f1.4, fresh from being stripped and re-assembled. Infinity is off but that's easy enough to adjust...

Work has been tremendously busy recently: no time to meet people for drinks, no time for blips, no nothing. Will try and back blip at some point soon...
