Aibl

This photo is looking down on the valley where we are staying with friends for the next 3 nights. The village, Aibl, is on the left of the picture and is in the south of Austria near the Slovenian border. It is amazingly green with wild flowers and tall delicate grasses everywhere. It has been mostly overcast with intermittent thunderstorms but pleasantly warm.
My little great niece is recovering nicely from viral meningitis, brother-in-law is able to stand with help and our friend is finally in Vienna ready for surgery. All is looking up. Big sigh of relief.
