Food for Friend

R made the special Shamsi loaf and I did the chocolate cake. M, who farms in the village, had a nasty accident about 10 days ago and damaged himself rather badly....you know, hit a tree stump when checking stock, flung out of the Freelander and then the darn thing goes and rolls on top of your head.

The local farmers are rallying around and helping with the work ( his wife has also been ill and is having 'treatment') and some of us have been proffering home cooked food to help things along.

Very wet here today, just hope it's better tomorrow. Our neighbour J is doing a Coast to Coast bike ride in aide of the air ambulance this weekend. All the more poignant as that is what transported M up to Frenchhay Hospital in Bristol. These thing cost a lot to keep going and you just never know when you're going to need it.
