Duckling

Yearofhappy and I caught up over a cuppa at Lady B's and a gentle stroll around Coppice Pond this afternoon.  Just as I was telling her that I hadn't seen any duck/goslings yet, a proud mallard mum appeared with three in her brood.  We worried a bit about the hovering magpie but he soon took off when he realised we were stopping around for a while.
