Ferns unfolding
Yesterday was a luke warm day, today chilly again... but sun and raising temps do help the trees and plants finally unfold their buds this week, so after work I visited the Japanese garden in Den Haag again to picture the ferns unfolding their leafs. Eversince '76 when I pictured unfolding ferns in Scotland I fancied recapturing them, never managed those shots again, not even today.
their stage 10 days ago
Funny that some had opened up fully and some were in the stage shown here. I could not get a closer shot as trespassing the moss is forebidden in this garden ~ the garden was packed with visitors (it's opened only during the month of May)
