Let Them Eat Cake

Had a great day out today doing a baking course at Cinnamon Square. We made speciality breads, brioche, profiteroles - and chiffon cake. This is the end result (left foreground), iced and decorated. I have to admit to a modest feeling of pride - I've never attempted anything nearly so ambitious before. We're having a shared lunch at Quaker Meeting on Sunday, so I hope people come with a good appetite!
