Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau

Juneau is an island unconnected to the mainland so can only be reached by boat or aeroplane.

The weather is so incredibly warm with clear skies that have surprised even the locals, so I have excess baggage of woollies, hats, gloves and rainwear. We have even been able to go swimming in the ship's swimming pool!

Today we had a great trip whale watching and then on to Medenhall Glacier. Awesome in the true sense of the word.
