Caressing and Courting

The mason bees were again courting in the warm morning sun. There were quite a few of the smaller males attracting the female bees. They have white hair on their faces, are slightly smaller and usually darker. Once they have a female they seem to spend a good deal of time caressing and courting her with gentle buzzing and strokes of their hind legs.

Couldn’t see any mites on these.
