City Life

This was one of my views early this morning, while waiting at traffic lights on my way to work. There is something enduringly fascinating about this area, the ever changing shop fronts, and the constant changing posters. I have no idea what the structure is that's in the forefront - I'm not sure anyone else does. All I know is that for the last 10 years it has constantly changing posters, and may, for all I know, be a lamppost which has grown fat from years and years of advertising posters....

These are areas often neglected from pictures - but they are the social history, charting the rapidly changing social environments.
