Hiding in the Dandelions

I spotted this cheeky chappy hiding in next doors dandelion lawn.  He's an American Goldfinch (I had to look him up) and is normally a drab brown except in breeding season when he's this magnificent yellow colour (according to Bird Web)  I'm sure it's just camouflage
