It was always going to be a good day, but perhaps not good enough to take the day off. RASP was showing mottling in a band across middle england and with no obvious pilots chomping at the bit for aerotow logistically that was looking unlikely. Suffolk were out winching but very light winds so not going to get much on the tow. I opted to try again another day and headed into the office.
In the end, RASP was pretty spot on, although the Suffolk tows were higher than I expected with S getting established and putting in a large triangle. So, perhaps ...
