Enlightenment

Down to Ayr for work today. What this meant was checking out a project that is coming to Glasgow in the summer. It was part of the Burns an' a' that Festival and created by a French artist with the best non-made up surname - Grosstete.

Rachel came along for the ride and we met up with the mammy and a whole load of other folk decamped from Glasgow. There was a Festival of Fudge, giant seagulls, a singing nun, some mediocre and some interesting art installations, hot drinks, empire biscuits, gazing out to sea all accompanied by a biting wind.

Once the Lighthouse was built it was quickly and enthusiastically destroyed.

The mammy has joined Blip and her blip for today is the Lighthouse as it's being lifted for a new layer to be built.
