Annoying habits?!

Much as I love Ozzy, my very gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend, he has a few disgusting habits which I find really annoying.  The question is.......................... Can I put up with them, or will this spell the end of our relationship?


What happened today was..........................  Ann had to work all day and we had to go with her.  She said, ‘Molly, we will leave for work really early and I’ll take you both for a long play in the fields first.’  I love playing in the fields.  Sometimes there are bunnies to chase and sometimes I meet other doggies to play with and sometimes Ann brings my bouncy ball for me to play with.

Today there were no bunnies, no other dogs and Ann didn’t bring my bouncy ball because one of Ozzy’s other annoying habits, is that he chews up my bouncy balls.

Anyway, I still had fun because there’s lots of nice smells in the field and lots of room for me to do running.  But do you know what Ozzy did?  .....................He just plodded around eating loads & loads of horse poo.  Just how gross is that???  And what was even more amazing; Ann didn’t tell him off because apparently his owners say he always does this. 

So then I thought I’d try rolling on the horse poo because rolling on stinky things is one of my favourite activities.  I was just about to lie down on my back for a good old roll about when Ann grabbed me by my collar and screamed, ‘Molly, don’t even think about it.  I am not going to sit in an office all day long with a dog that smells of horse poo.’

I thought that was so, so unfair.  Ozzy gets to indulge in his disgusting habit and I wasn’t even allowed one tiny little roll about!

So what do you think Blippers?.............................

.....................Should I stick with him and hope that as he gets older (he is my toy boy after all) he will mature and outgrow his annoying habits, OR, should I just dump him now and hopefully meet another doggie who has all of Ozzy’s good attributes but none of his annoying habits????????????????????????????
