Ordinary people...Extraordinary circumstances.

Summerdown Camp is where wounded & recovering soldiers came in their thousands in WW1.. the storys of these young men are truly moving..as are the doctors..nurses..& auxillary staff.. my own grandfather may well have been treated here.
Out of the insanity of war..comes stories of the human spirit.. a wonder & a marvel indeed.
I sat down with a cuppa afterward.. to ponder it all......
