Crossing over

Went for a walk on the 'wrong' side of the river again this morning, but this time had Mme Tepeka in tow as I like to lead her astray from time to time.

It was a glorious morning to be out and about - it was just a shame we had to head home as work was beckoning (well, for me. Mme Tepeka was just getting ready to file her fingernails or touch up her mascara or whatever else it is she does all day.).

This small boat house is on the Lagan and is used by the local canoers - there's a canoe water-polo pitch(?) beside it, and just a bit further downstream there's a white-water course with the various poles and gates they have to go through. Reminder to self: come down one day and take a photo while they're doing it...
