One of the things I like about the mountains is the timing of the seasons, particularly spring. The flowers come according to altitude and it is possible to find the same flower starting to grow high up a month or more later than those in the valley. There are plenty of flowers growing out of the rock now and I rather liked this one. This morning I met the organ tuner who did his job and then gave a favourable report on the organ we transported from England and rebuilt last year. I also got round to a bit of gardening and then caught up on the sad state of English cricket with the Strauss - Peterson affair. Whatever KP's sins, he has been grossly misled and mistreated and the cricket authorities reveal themselves once again to be poor managers only capable of creating a shambles. The Australians must be laughing! Rant over!
