Sourdough

My first ever sourdough bread, baked this morning.

Quite an interesting experience. When I put it on the baking tray it flattened out like a pizza and I thought 'oh crap, it's ruined'. But it 'bounced' back into shape as it cooked. I've since learned that slashing the top in an 'X' will allow it to retain more of its boule shape so I'll try that next time.

Haven't tasted it yet though....
