Really?!

Frustrating day.

My tumble dryer has broken and the engineer was coming out to me as his 'last job'. This turned into coming between 1pm and 3pm, which resulted in a last minute afternoon off work for both me and The Dopski. (A cancelled meeting and re-shuffling of exam invigilators too).

The engineer arrived at 1.35pm (an incredibly late appointment) and declared that I have a fault (really?! I hadn't noticed!). He preceded to riffle through his van to find another 'mother board' and exclaimed how lucky I was that he had one in board. As part of the booking in process you gave to say exactly what type of problem you have, which machine you have etc, even down to what the serial number is. How can they not have suitable parts on the van after all that?!

After fitting the 'mother board' he declared that I have another fault and he would be back in touch. (Yay, another afternoon off work on a 'late' appointment). He said that the drier might work, but not to hold my breath.

Fifteen minutes later there was a strong smell of electrical burning and I have no lights or anything working again. Woo hoo!
