I’m rather disappointed when I get here.  This is my ‘monthly tree’ blip and it looks very different from the last time.  Or the first time for that matter.

The shape that attracted me in the first place has been lost under the canopy of leaves; the trunk is in deep shadow, even though the sun is shining and it’s about the same time of day.

Still - that’s the point of doing this - to see the changes in something that I usually take for granted
