Travelled down to London this evening - I have a day's training tomorrow for the GMC.

The GMC no longer has an establishment in London - they have decamped to Manchester.  So when in London they use the facilities of other medical establishments.  This training is based at the Royal College of General Practitioners, which is pretty posh, even though the college is still quite young in medical college terms - established in 1952.
