A crow flying across calling would have made perfect this view into the Lake District and the sun setting close to the conical mountain of Caw.  But we can't have everything, it was good to see the sun set from the top of Arnside Knott, and to appreciate its migration north as the year goes on.  Hardly more than a month from now and it will be the longest day, and the sun will be setting at its highest latitude.
