Joining up...

I was in Glasgow this morning to complete some of the formalities around joining the University in my new part time role as Professor in Scottish Culture & Governance.- something I am very much looking forward to and which I am sure will compliment and enhance the very intensive work I do as the local MSP for Argyll & Bute.

Trouble is, I didn't get any further as I have developed some problem with my right foot which makes walking rather painful . It has been getting steadily worse since Election Day so I am now back in Argyll in order to see my local doctor tomorrow.
