Paper

It's our 35th wedding anniversary today. We had to get the certificate out to make sure as we rarely remember the date.

We only got married because I was turned down for a teaching job after the head discovered that I had a child but wasn't married.
I don't think much of marriage or weddings and didn't want to change my surname but that was the point of going through this.
I don't believe that it is this flimsy piece of paper that has kept us together, that's just been luck.
Some people would put their wedding photograph on blip to mark such an occasion. I can't because 'someone' opened the camera with the film in it so the wedding photos were spoilt, and we still lasted 35 years!
