Has he gone ??

I opened the patio doors this evening to check on the rabbits, who usually sit out in the rain getting soggy, only to see a young fox rush out of the undergrowth at the opposite end of the garden to the bunnies ( thank goodness!) and out under the fence to the wild area behind the house. It was quite a small fox, so I guess it was a young one, though not a cub. We have had foxes in the garden before - last year it was a mother and a cub, but this is the first one I've seen this year. 
Honey was standing on her hind legs at first- she obviously knew he/she was there. Lily was totally oblivious, munching on broccoli. Glad they are both safe in their run.
