Glen Davis

Trisharooni and I went out for a jaunt to Glen Davis today.  I hadn't been there for over 25 years and Trish had never been.  It's a gorgeous drive and there were photo opportunities everywhere.  

We actually went out to see the old mine but couldn't access it at the moment so we'll have to go again.  

On the way back we stopped in at Mount Piper Station and there's a place that deserves a bit more time.  Apart from the very nice security man who chased us away - apparently there was a sign saying no photography - didn't see that - and there was also the bit about being in a prohibited area - oops!

Next time I think we'll stay at Capertee pub or perhaps at Alison's at Glen Davis and take a bit more time.
