Lighthouse

Yesterday I thought today's blip would be another tower and to an outsider it looks like the leaning tower of Pisa. It is in fact a lighthouse, built with cardboard boxes which had been assembled in one of the local schools and then moved to a public place to be assembled by the public to create Olivier Grossetete's Lighthouse. In this picture the public are lifting the structure to put it on another layer of boxes and then it is all celotaped together. A true piece of public art and public participation.
No sooner had it been assembled than it was knocked over and the children had great fun with the boxes. The box was always better than the contents.
