Dunnottar Castle

It was my birthday today - another year older:-( I got money towards a new tripod from my folks which I tried out for the first time at Dunnottar Castle today. I must have looked like a professional photographer setting up all my equipment. I thoroughly enjoyed trying it out and I hope you're impressed with how sharp this shot of the castle is. It looks like a beautiful sunny day, which it was, however it was absolutely freezing on the top of the cliffs at Dunnottar so we didn't hang about for long.

I had an enjoyable birthday and had a lovely meal at night along with both sets of parents - they were all boozy by the end of the night. Think it was the first birthday in years that I haven't had an alcoholic drink. But all for a good cause of course with baby Scamp due in November;-)
