Mortal Dumpling

Fantastic food at Monday's downtown pop-up: buns (bao)--the baked one is filled with curried chicken, the steamed has tofu and mushrooms. Then there is the yummy carrot salad. And dumplings in hot oil. And chocolate mochi for dessert. The people behind this all seem so young. Ah, but who doesn't anymore. More power to these enthusiastic talented folks who produce excellent healthy food in a welcoming atmosphere. This may become a weekly routine for us.
