Wet Day

Today was a partly normal Sunday for me. I went to church at 11am, where we sang the National Anthem during the service and the children made crowns in our Sunday School. It was great to look at their creative skills!

Anyway, after a quick lunch I went to our local park (actually called Victoria Park) and was intending a blip during the events there, but I forgot my camera, and it rained so hard my phone was not able to take pictures for some reason.

I got absolutely soaked through clothes and boots despite a mac and an umbrella and sheltering at one point under the National Needlework Emporium stall.

In the end the only blip I got was of the umbrella put in the porch to dry off afterwards (not that it dried there very well as its an open porch).

Oh and of course Billy decided to join in the blip. He has only been out a couple of times today, he really hates the rain and being wet. He went out after breakfast and unusually for him was sitting on the doormat meowing before 5 minutes were up. It will be interesting to see if the litter tray gets used overnight because he hasn't been using it since being out most of the day!
